I had an image of children tossing and catching these giant bouncy balls on a beach.
And a smile crossed my face.
In my usual rush, I hurried past and on out to the car, where I paused.
Those balls gave me a moment of joy.
I walked back into the store and snapped several photos from several different angles.
And on my way out, I paused, again, to explain to the two curious clerks why I was taking pictures of their store display.
That I was paying homage to fleeting happiness.
We chatted a minute, exchanged a series of laughs.
I walked back out to the car a little less hurried, and with a happy heart…
