Happy Sunday, Journeyer!
This week has been a bit of a blur! I’ve been so fatigued that I didn’t even attend my Crossfit sessions on Wednesday or Friday. Though I felt a good kind of tired after working out I just didn’t have any energy left for the rest of the day.
I found out on Thursday why I have felt like I’ve been moving through quicksand these past many months: I have sleep Apnea.
In about seven-and-a-half hours I experienced one-hundred and fifty-one episodes where I quit breathing and my oxygen level dropped to seventy-six percent.
Though I’m not looking forward to being attached to a machine while I sleep, I am so looking forward to waking rested in the morning and to finally being able to feel like my lungs are full of air again. The doctor told me that people who suffer from this disorder swear the machine makes them feel like a completely different person.
I can hardly wait for the next step in the process to be completed!
Speaking of looking forward to something, Big Guy turned eighteen on Wednesday! The baby of the family…
Though I love my children dearly, I am also looking forward to the empty nest, to watching my children soar as they share their many talents with the rest of the world and to spreading my own wings a little farther!
Speaking of numbers, ever since the psychic party I had, I’ve been repeatedly seeing every combination of three-digit numbers. The only one I hadn’t seen was six-six-six, which landed in my lap hours after I mentioned to Warren this increasing phenomenon.
On Friday I had lunch with someone I’ve done business with for years but had never met.
During the meal we talked about my work with The Five Facets and she shared with me many wonderful ideas and thoughts about what she liked, didn’t like, and even game me some creative logo ideas.
She also indicated that she didn’t feel my lack of degree would prevent me from doing great things with this work but that she did feel that many professionals wouldn’t come on board if I didn’t become credentialed.
It would be so easy for me to give up because of my lack of letters behind my name, Journeyer, and her words did sit heavy for a few seconds…but I believe with all my heart that I am meant to share The Five Facets Philosophy on Healing with the world, to put her out their to help heal heartache…
On my way back to work I spotted 4444 on the side of a building I pass by every day, and yet I’d never noticed the number before. I’d already seen 444 earlier in the day and subsequently saw it one more time before I parked my car in the drive at the end of the day.
Doreen Virtue and other numerologists say that 4444 is a symbol that angels are surrounding you, encouraging you to keep pursuing your work, and to let you know that help is only a question away. Four-combinations are messages that you are on the right track, that all is as it should be, and that what you have been working on will be successful…
Virtue even uses 444 in her Facebook screen name!
I’d say if it’s good enough for her, it’s good enough for me.
Somehow, this little bit of knowledge about the role of repeating numbers in my life seems to give me some peace of mind, it gives me hope, and these regular sightings bring a sense of peace and happiness in the form of affirmation…
Speaking of habits, Gretchen Rubin’s Better Than Before arrived in the mail today! I can’t wait to read what she has to say about mastering our daily habits!
What about you, Journeyer? What moments brought you hope, happiness, or some sense of healing this past week?
Share them here and make us smile!
Until we meet again, yours in hope, healing, and happiness,
~AE
