Well, Journeyer, it\u2019s going to be a light post this week\u2026<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
But joy still reigns!<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
I\u2019ve been busy working on the final touches for my book proposal that I\u2019m submitting to the Hay House contest!<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
Remember when <\/span>I went to that workshop this past June<\/span><\/a>?<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
It was on that trip that I found the quote most moving, which I attached to the photo I took on my long drive to the airport.<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
My soul has been writing this book about my dream of becoming a published author for more than three decades now\u2026<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
Not that I\u2019m unhappy with the self-publishing experience, that has been good, too, and people are continuing to purchase copies, but I would be even more delighted to be picked up by a publishing house, so I don\u2019t have to keep reinventing the wheel\u2026<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
To be picked up by a group like Hay House, people who specialize in the type of books I want to write, well, now, that would make me downright giddy!<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
Even if I don\u2019t win, though, I\u2019m still filled with joy because I\u2019m living with passion and practicing the art I love!<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
That said, won\u2019t you join me in an abundance of positive thinking? Please send this out into the universe:<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n

Without further adieu, here are two of the moments that brought me joy this week!<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
I took myself and my old guy, Thunder, for several walks.<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
He doesn\u2019t move along nearly as quickly as he used to, and this thick bedding of hay\u2026<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
<\/a><\/div>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2026okay, it\u2019s straw, but you know, artistic liberties to make it fit\u2026 ;)\u2026<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
That thick bed of \u201chay\u201d helps his tired and arthritic thirteen-year-old joints.<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
And then, half of my house is decorated for the holidays.<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
Warren helped me decorate the door this year, and I must it looks so inviting and fun lit up by the spotlight I put out this year!<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n

My reading room and part of our living room still look like they threw up Christmas decorations, but that\u2019s okay, there\u2019s a Nor\u2019easter coming and they\u2019re predicting a day off!<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
Which gives me extra time to work on that book proposal and possibly take care of a few stray items.<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
