It\u2019s my favorite time of year, Journeyers.<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

And for the first time ever I got to spend a little bit of it in one of my most favorite places: New York City.<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

I spent one glorious, snowy, and blustery Saturday with four fabulous women and one incredibly delightful fifth grader.<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

There were so many magical moments that fed my happy this past week!<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Here are a few highlights.<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Monday morning began with a private Phoenix Rising yoga session, where I not only discovered and dealt with some longstanding angst, I tapped into a channel of core energy that runs from my head to my toes\u2026<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Let me just say that that was one of the coolest experiences I\u2019ve ever had\u2026<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

And then, after telling the woman about my work with The Five Facets<\/i>, she not only told me about a documentary that she had just participated in, she told the filmmakers about my model for healing.<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

We\u2019re in the early stages of talking, but they\u2019ve asked me if I\u2019ll consider being a part of the film!<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

As if all that positive energy weren\u2019t enough for one morning, I received the seventh in the Soon-to-be-50 card series my mom\u2019s been sending me.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/a><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/div>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Warren, a big kid at heart, also loves telling jokes and making people laugh. Every year I purchase season Comedy Club tickets as gifts for him.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Not only does it mean I\u2019m not bringing unneeded stuff into our home, it makes him happy AND it is something he and I can do together.<\/span><\/span>
<\/o:p><\/span><\/span> <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/span>Now that\u2019s a winning combination if I\u2019ve ever seen one!<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
<\/span><\/div>\n
Monday night\u2019s event was one of the most stellar out of the four years we\u2019ve been attending, with the second comedian being one of the funniest we\u2019ve seen to-date!<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
<\/span><\/div>\n
And then, though we had to drive two hours from home and return in the wee hours of the morning, we were glad that Fave made it safely home, despite a major upset for the airlines when a storm struck the southern and central states.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/a><\/div>\n
Though I believe that home is wherever we are<\/span><\/a>, I\u2019m so happy to have my children here in the flesh for Christmas\u2026<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Here we are, minus Big Guy, who had a school commitment, after a delicious Tuesday dinner out.<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/div>\n
Thank goodness the next few days were a bit quieter as I don\u2019t think my heart could have withstood much more!<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Plus, I needed to save up as much energy as possible for my trip to NYC!<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Shortly after we left here, our friend guide announced that we were walking past the birth place of Theodore Roosevelt\u2026<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/a><\/div>\n
\u2026which made me think of one of my favorite quotes, attributed to the former First Lady, Eleanor Roosevelt: \u201cThe future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
<\/span><\/div>\n
This sidewalk Christmas tree lot reminded me of Hallmark\u2019s heartwarming Christmas movie, Fir Crazy<\/i>. <\/span><\/div>\n
<\/a><\/div>\n

Our fifth gal lives in the city and took us to some unique and fun places I\u2019ve not visited on any of my previous trips.<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

Even at the end of this long, full day, these five smiles reflect the joy we shared and the fun we had together\u2026<\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n
