Guys! I was over the moon<\/em> with excitement this week!<\/span><\/div>\n

I just happened to be in the right place at the right time.<\/span><\/div>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

And you won\u2019t BELIEVE what happened to me.<\/span><\/div>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Journeyers, I was invited to join a tour of the grounds where Mark Twain produced some of his greatest works.<\/span><\/div>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

I WAS STANDING ON THE VERY SPOT WHERE HE WROTE HUCKLEBERRY FINN, TOM SAWYER, AND MANY OTHERS!!!!<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/a><\/div>\n
This is THE SPOT where Mark Twain\u2019s writing study sat<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I accompanied a group of students who were on a special tour of this secluded and privately owned spot.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/span><\/div>\n
I have a full post planned for this little adventure, <\/span>a brilliant stroke of luck I managed to find my way into<\/span><\/a>, but since today\u2019s Father\u2019s Day, we\u2019ll keep this one short.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/span><\/div>\n
The children on this trip were given shirts upon which they could write a quote from Twain\u2019s repertoire.<\/span><\/div>\n
I especially loved this one.<\/span><\/div>\n

(and given that it\u2019s a day to revere and honor and dote on our male role models, we\u2019ll leave the clueless <\/em>jokes for another day\u2026)<\/span><\/div>\n

Happy Father’s Day, Sam Clemens, one of the greatest literary fathers of all time and a devoted dad who adored each of his four children.<\/span><\/div>\n
Happy Father\u2019s Day, to my dad, a man whom I might have given a great deal of trouble to, too. Yet a Father who loved me despite it all.<\/span><\/div>\n

We were watching a rare daytime movie, Hansel & Gretel<\/em>, while I finished putting this piece together. The film ended just as I published this piece. Warren began channel-surfing and declared, “Oh, look, it’s an animated Adventures of Mark Twain<\/em>. Doodoodoodoo…<\/em><\/span><\/o:p><\/div>\n
