I love the scents and colors that signal spring\u2019s arrival.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/span><\/div>\n
Freshly mowed lawns and foliage bursting forth from slumber\u2026<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/span><\/div>\n
Last fall I planted bulbs, what I like to call <\/span>sowing smiles<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/span><\/div>\n
And now, after five harsh winter months, my time Every time I\u2019ve pulled into my drive these past few weeks, I\u2019ve felt excitement.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/span><\/div>\n
My mood elevating from bad to good or good to better\u2026<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/span><\/div>\n
And with the many trips between my work\u2019s split shift and Big Guy\u2019s extracurricular activities, it\u2019s been a veritable bouquet of uplifted vibes.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/span><\/div>\n
The vegetation has literally been in a different growth stage with each arrival and departure.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/span><\/div>\n
From the first green shoots with the buds pushing up from the tight soil, to the stalks shooting upwards toward the sun\u2026<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/a> <\/a><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
To full-fledged flowering\u2026<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/a> <\/a><\/div>\n
The sun\u2019s kiss creates the most vibrant color\u2026<\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s taken two years for my Daffodil clusters to bloom, but it\u2019s been worth the wait!<\/span><\/div>\n

And I\u2019m so glad I spent the extra time on my hands and knees planting tulips all the way down our one-hundred-fifty-foot road frontage.<\/span><\/div>\n

Today, when I left with the dog to take in some early morning exercise, these flowers were all closed.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/span><\/div>\n
And when I returned with my camera an hour later?<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/a><\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
My yard is a rainbow of color, but this is one of my favorites because I love anything <\/span>pretty in pink<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/div>\n

Sometimes, like the proverbial shit, Happy just happens\u2026<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/span><\/div>\n
and then there\u2019s those beautiful moments when our plans materialize right before our very eyes\u2026<\/span><\/div>\n
