Every two or three days, for the past four months, a Google search with the words Daughter<\/i>, Controlling<\/i>, and Boyfriend<\/i>, lead to <\/span>this post<\/span><\/a> on my site.<\/span><\/p>\n

I find this equally discomforting and comforting.<\/span><\/p>\n

Discomforting that parents are finding their daughters in controlling situations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Comforting that these same parents not only recognize a pattern of behavior, they are reaching out to do a bit of research, and, presumably, looking for ways to help their children recognize this behavior\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

I have so much more to say on this subject, but for now, my hormones are raging, which always leaves me feeling washed out.<\/span><\/p>\n

I think a nap is in order, before I return to work\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n
