{"id":379970,"date":"2016-12-24T11:59:54","date_gmt":"2016-12-24T11:59:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.annahelizabeth.com\/index.php\/2016\/12\/24\/magic-is-coming-to-your-neighborhood\/"},"modified":"2016-12-24T11:59:54","modified_gmt":"2016-12-24T11:59:54","slug":"magic-is-coming-to-your-neighborhood","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging.annahelizabeth.com\/index.php\/2016\/12\/24\/magic-is-coming-to-your-neighborhood\/","title":{"rendered":"Magic is Coming to Your Neighborhood"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-11060\" src=\"https:\/\/annahelizabeth.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Christmas-Message-from-The-Five-Facets-300x300.png\" alt=\"Christmas Message from The Five Facets\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/>Happy Sunday, Journeyer!<\/p>\n<p>And for those who celebrate the holiday, Merry Christmas to you.<\/p>\n<p>Many of this week&#8217;s happy moments have been centered around this celebration, Journeyer&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>from wrapping each gift and adorning each with festive ribbons&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Warren and Big Guy helping me prepare our three-season room to accommodate the fourteen family members who would join us Christmas Eve day&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>counting down the days til my extended work break&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>hearing one of my second-grade students suddenly break out into song; his rendition of <em>Silent Night<\/em> was even on key!<\/p>\n<p>daily Christmas music and nightly Christmas movies&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>pink sunrises&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>my warm down coat that blocked the wind&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>ice fishing for the first time&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>seeing the smile and hearing the excitement in the voice of the person who received an ice fishing hut from us for Christmas&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>taking a half personal day at work so I could prepare for our guests and be able to pick Fave up at the airport&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>a gift from one of my students&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>daily meditations&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>the satisfied feeling of accomplishing some put-off projects&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>hearing how some pay it forward gifts affected the recipients&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>and you, Journeyer, your messages and stories of heartache and healing and struggle and success&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I am honored to to be your neighbor and to partner with you in helping heal worlds of hurt&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>For as many of us that will be celebrating the birth of Jesus, countless others will be grieving the death of something in their lives&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>If you are in the latter category, please let this post serve as hope that you will find resolution in your grief&#8230;in your time&#8230;in your way&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Magic is coming to Your Neighborhood.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yours in hope, healing, and happiness,<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-7123\" src=\"https:\/\/annahelizabeth.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Annah-Elizabeth-Signature-300x52.jpg\" alt=\"Annah Elizabeth Signature\" width=\"300\" height=\"52\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Sunday, Journeyer!
